Tibet: 380,000 people in credit system

Up to the end of October, 2008, 380,000 people in the Tibet Autonomous Region have brought their account information into personal credit system. And the credit balance reached 7 billion yuan with a yearly increase of 200 million yuan.

With the development of the personal credit system in Tibet, finance institutions have simplified loan procedures and the personal credit system is playing a more important role in the operational risk of bank credit. In addition, commercial banks can prevent their risks in advance by checking the system.
