Ye Xingsheng, well-known Chinese collector as well as researcher with China Tibetology Research Center, on January 9 published a new book named "Ye Xingsheng-Lover of Tibetan Folk Art", to memorize his story on saving and protecting Tibetan culture, over the last forty years.
"All I have done are worthy as it is just what the Tibetan people give me and I'm willing to stick to it for all my life," said Ye Xingsheng.
In 1999, Ye donated his 2,300 private collections, which hold great historical and cultural values, to Tibet Autonomous Region, among which 22 are under national first class protected list and some are quite rare and unique.
