New policies to back up farmland water conservancy construction

Major policies and measures have been taken to promote farmland water conservancy construction in Tibet, sources from People's Bank Lhasa branch.

People's Bank Lhasa branch will implement the credit policies timely, enhance guidance of rural credit policy and make full use of special offers of monetary policy to improve the farmland water conservancy constructions in agricultural and pastoral areas of Tibet.

The related financial institutions will develop the practical approaches of credit management in agricultural and pastoral areas of Tibet, optimize the loan process, and create the credit species to achieve the aims of TAR "11th Five-Year Plan" effectively.

It's necessary to start up the suitable credit products for farmers and herdsmen to stimulate consumption market in agricultural and pastoral areas of TAR.
