Documentary on Tibet receives positive response

A documentary chronicling remarkable changes over the last five decades in China's Tibet Autonomous Region by comparing its past and present has received positive response from audiences after premiered in some cities of China on Sunday.

"I'm impressed by the great changes in Tibet, from the brutal hell to the new socialism society," said Fu Weijian, "I can feel Tibetan people live a happy and harmonious life."

He said Tibet is an inalienable part of China and Chinese people will never allow any split trying to separate Tibet from its motherland.

Featuring a large amount of precious historical audio and visual documents, the film shows Tibet is an inalienable part of China with abundant historical documents, videos and photos, discloses the brutal and dark old Tibet under the feudal serfdom integrated with religion and politics and displays the remarkable progresses in society, culture and life Tibet has made over the last five decades.

The film was on February 15 shown in Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Tibet, Qinghai, Gansu and Yunnan, and will be available nationwide by February 17.
