The opening ceremony, photo from Xinhua.An opening ceremony of the project to provide electricity for each household in cities and prefectures of Tibet Autonomous Region was held on April 28.
The State Grid Corporation of China (State Grid) and Tibet Electricity Co., Ltd. are about to invest 874 million yuan this year to help 113,000 Tibetans out of 23,663 households in 11 Tibetan counties to have access to electricity.
