On April 27, the Drashi office of Lhasa Chengguan District organized more than 1,000 local people for grand performances in order to celebrate the 50 anniversary of the Democratic Reform in Tibet and the 60th anniversary of founding of the People's Republic of China.

"We would like to present the best songs to the Communist Party of China and our motherland," the singers from Tuanjie New Village said.

"It is the Party who brings happy life to us and leads us to the socialist road," said 55-year-old Gamado. "What Gamado said is right: nowadays in Tuanjiexin Village, 92% of the local people have moved into spacious new houses and the per capita income has surpassed 5,500 yuan," other villagers nodded.

Then chorus teams from Xungar community, Drashi New Village and Drashi community performed one song after another and the warm atmosphere on the party lasted for a long time.

Tubdain Tashi, vice director of the Drashi office, told the reporter: "The patriotic songs inspire the local people's patriotic affection and all of them think that development and stability are most important."

The per capita income of the Drashi community has hit 20,000 yuan and this community has become a civilized one and is famous around the country.
