IR thermometer to scrutinize passengers in Tibet

Since May 11th, all the passengers have to receive IR thermometer tests at the airport in order to strengthen temperature monitoring and prevent influenza A/H1N1 outbreak in Tibet, sources from emergency command center of TAR Civil Aviation.

TAR Civil Aviation Bureau had set up influenza A/H1N1 prevention and control medical team and made emergency plans on May 1. Any passenger whose body temperature above 37.5 degree centigrade will not allow to pass aviation security.

Workers spray disinfectant on public areas such as channels, waiting halls, security checking hall at the airport of Tibet every day.

Tayong, deputy director of emergency command center said:"Our government has arranged 140,000 yuan as special funds for purchasing equipments to prevent influenza A/H1N1."
