
Tibet held a commemorative conference on July 2 to mark the 50th anniversary of the foundation of Tibet People's Radio and Tibet's broadcast career.
Formally launching broadcast on January 1, 1959, Tibet People's Radio Station unveils the new chapter of Tibet's broadcast career.
Currently, the four frequencies of Tibet People's Radio Station offer services to over 88.81 per cent of Tibetan population with a daily broadcast amount of 80 hours and 25 minutes.
Furthermore, the station has fulfilled the digital equipment for editing and producing while the online broadcast has been put into use this year.
