Tibet's largest water control project starts construction

On July 15, the Phomdo Water Control Project in Lhunzhub county, Lhasa, started construction officially. This is the largest water control project in the Tibet Autonomous Region(TAR). Zhang Qingli, Party secretary of TAR, Qiangba Puncog, chairman of TAR, Chen Li, head of the Ministry of Water Resources of TAR, and other TAR officials attended the ceremony.
