(China Tibet Information Center Photo)An exhibition, which introduces great achievements of the economic progress and the national unity in the five Chinese autonomous regions on August 25 opened to public free of charge at the Cultural Palace of Nationalities in Beijing.
The five Chinese autonomous regions are Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Guangxi, Ningxia and Tibet autonomous regions.
With a large number of photos and dozens of subjects, the hall of Tibet, on the second floor, westward, introduces the social, cultural and economic development, condition of ecological protection in current Tibet and also shows their confidence in the further prospect of the region.
Visitors were attracted by a model house, in the middle of the hall, which is decorated alike to Tibet's housing project.
"I plan to revisit the Zayul County in September with my wife, and see what has happened to the county, and to the people," the Beijinger Wang Maochun, who has ever visited Zayul in 1971 when he was a soldier in Chengdu Military Area Command, told the journalist, the natural scenery of the mountain, lake and vegetation of Zayul, left a deep impression to him, which always calls him to come back.
"It will be my second trip to Tibet, things must have been taking great changes there," Mr Wang said neither water nor electricity was accessible at that time.
The exhibition will end on September 17.
