'Mangkam Yanjing' Tourism Festival attracts investment

On the 3rd Tibet Tea Horse Road "Mangkam Yanjing" Tourism Festival that opened in Mangkam county of Chamdo prefecture on September 4, the people's government of Mangkam county has signed 4 projects with the contract fund of 505 million yuan. The four projects include the Jiaoba Power Station with the investment of 600 million yuan, the Mangkam County Logistics Center of Eastern Tibet with 30 million yuan, the Mangkam County Matsutake Processing Factory with 12 million yuan and Chuka Gas Station with 8.5 million yuan.

According to Gong Jun, Party secretary of Mangkam county, the festival not only helps boost Tibetan culture but also promote the investment environment of the county.
