Automatic meteorological monitoring station on the Qinghai-Tibet Railway line side

8 automatic meteorological monitoring stations will be completed along the Qinghai-Tibet Railway from Nachitai to Yanshiping and put into operation soon.

These additional monitoring stations will be linked with existing ones along the Qinghai-Tibet Railway to form a meteorological monitoring network. It will help provide better meteorological service for ecological environmental assessment along the Qinghai-Tibet Railway, traffic safety for communications and herding production and toursim industry.
