The report group attending the third Tibet tour for China's key web media visited Panam Science & Technology Demonstration Garden in Xigaze on Sep 14th. A variety of vegetables and flowers including gourds, watermelons and cherry tomatoes are available in this highland agriculture demonstration area.
Panam Science & Technology Agricultural Demonstration Garden located in the northern suburb of Panam County, is the key aid-Tibet project of 5th group of cadres from Shan Dong province.
The garden started construction in May 2008 and to be completed in two years. It has been divided into 8 demonstration areas with the total area of 2,000 mu. Up to now, over 2,000 farmers have had the agricultural training lessons.
