(Xinhua Photo)The Lhasa City Environment Protection Bureau and EU-China Biodiversity Programme have jointly lunched a survey of 19 wetland reserves and two nature reserves in the seven counties of Lhasa, capital of Tibet.
The survey aims to choose one or two conservations from among the wetlands and solicit opinions and advice on environmental protection from people living in the reserves and their neighborhoods.

The Environment Protection Bureau will invite experts to study and analyze the existing problems relative to and the potential threats to the wetland, and will coordinate,via compensation, local residents' daily management of the wetland.
