Souvenirs for the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, including licensed products made of precious metals and commemorative coins have been available in Lhasa, according to Tibet Business.
"Though there is still time to go before the World Expo opens, I've known a lot about it via the Internet and TV," said a woman surnamed Li who was choosing souvenirs at a franchised store on the Jiangsu Road in downtown Lhasa.

"Knowing that the souvenirs have been for sale in Lhasa, I'm here for them specially," she said excitedly.

Souvenirs for the expo fall into three categories, with the first having been released, including a set of gold and silver coins, precious-metal souvenir badges of nine specifications and a set of color commemorative gold bars.
