Two more wetland parks are scheduled to be built up in Chaba and Lhasa Economic and Technological Development zones in 2010.

Building up wetland parks can not only protect the urban wetland resources, increase per capita public green area, but also beautify the urban environment. At present, the design, surveying and other preparatory works for building parks have been carried on.
The staff from management committee of the development zone said:" 2,300 meters long fences will be installed to prevent livestock entering wetlands. Any forms of hunting, fishing and picking up plants are forbidden. During the animal breeding, breast-feeding period, minimize the access into wildlife habitat areas."
