National Chinese Go Series A League held in Shangri-la

The 18th round of the National Chinese Go Series A League started Monday in the Meili Snow Mountain Park, Shangri-la Tibetan County, southwest China's Yunnan Province.

Chang Hao, a famous Chinese go player, said that he was greatly honored to participate in such a match in this national park featuring the highest altitude above sea level, the most charming scenery and the richest ethnic folklores in the history of the league match.

Li Fangming, director of the Yunnan Chess and Card Games Management Center, indicated that the match was partly designed to display the park's unique landscape and cultural background; the development of Chinese go also can be promoted by holding the match in Shangri-la, a place with enchanting natural and cultural landscape.
