
The government of Lhozha County in southeastern Tibet's Shannan Prefecture has been offering cultural services to its rural people, according to Tibet Daily.
To date, the county government has helped stage 25 performances for 13,000 rural residents.
Seven local film projection teams have been touring farming and grazing areas, schools and monasteries and have made 1,187 film shows for 97,347 people.
More than 76 percent of the residents in the rural area of Lhozha attended the 27 meetings at which former serfs recalled their sufferings in old Tibet and described what a happy life they led today.
