
Photo taken on Oct. 23, 2009 shows the outside view of the Cizhong Catholic Church in Yanmen Township, Deqin County, Deqen Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, southwest China's Yunnan Province. (Xinhua/Lin Yiguang)First built in 1867 and rebuilt in 1909, the Church is a model combining architectural features of both western countries and China's Tibet, Han and Bai ethnic groups. The church and its wing-room, gate, cellar and grape yard have been well preserved by local government. It was listed as a national key cultural relic under protection by the State Council in 2006.
