Farming Cooperative Community benefits rural Tibetan residents

Photo taken on Nov. 2, 2009, shows residents on tractors working in a field in Xinba Village, Lhongzi County, southeastern Tibet's Shannan Prefecture. In early 2009, a cooperative community of farming equipment was set up in the village with the help of related departments, such as the Shannan Prefectural Farming and Animal Husbandry Bureau. Now, the community has 17 tractors, benefiting 585 rural households who have joined it. (Chinatibetnews Photo)
