(Xinhua Photo)The 2009 Gyarong Tibetan Folklore Festival was held in Dampa County, Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, southwest China's Sichuan Province, from Oct. 25 to 30.
The county, referred to as "a valley of beauty" by locals, looks much more attractive in the colorful autumn -- green plants, garden alternanthera (also known as five-color grass, an ornamental plant,) blue sky and white clouds.
During the festival, recreational performances such as singing and dancing, pageants and traditional wedding ceremonies feasted visitors' eyes.
