(Xinhua Photo)Lhasa, caital of Tibet, will begin to build its first bus parking lot and an affiliatted building soon, according to the Lhasa City Communication Bureau.
Covering an area of 10 mu (15 mu equals one hectare), the parking lot and the building will be located north of the Najing Road and east of the new plant nursery base of the Lhasa Parks and Landscaping Bureau.
A staff worker of the Lhasa City Communication Bureau said the two facilities will have a departure terminal, a maintenance and repair factory, a gas station and a control center.
The parking lot is designed to accommodate 50 buses and is expected to make public transport more convenient for Lhasa citizens.
