(Xinhua Photo) To stimulate its tourist market in the cold season, Tibet has been pursuing a preferential price policy from Nov. 1 to March 31, 2010, in the whole tourism sector, including tourist agencies, hotels and scenic spots, said Wang Songping, deputy director of the bureau.
The period from May to October is generally believed to be the golden season to travel in Tibet. But in recent years, Tibet has been trying to introduce its off-season tourism.
