First Tibetan female singer gives solo concert in Beijing

Asigen, a Tibetan female singer, held a vocal solo concert in Beijing Poly Theatre Tuesday night to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Air Force (CAF).

With a voice that carries "pure music from heaven," Asigen is the first Tibetan female singer to hold a solo concert in the nation's capital.

To honor the occasion, Asigen sang revolutionary songs recomposed in typical Tibetan style.

Besides, she also sang the theme song of the film "The Qinghai-Tibet Line" to eulogize the three generations of constructors who have made selfless contributions to the finishing of the Qinghai-Tibet railway line.
