The two met each other in Lhasa and got married several year ago, then Yang moved with his wife to Kangmang County, changed his name to Zhaxi, and became a rural medical worker in Luoni Township.
Since the couple were married, Zhaxi's meager earnings have been barely enough to support his family, but the couple have been living a happy life together.
Speaking of his family, Zhaxi couldn't help smiling and said that his wife and he respect each other and always try the best to adapt to each other's living habits and lifestyles.
Zhaxi also has observed local customs and learned the Tibetan language. Butter tea and tsampa have already become indispensable in his meals.
The wife, on the other hand, said bashfully that she is trying hard to learn to speak the Han language, so that she will not have to worry about the difficulty in communicating with her parents-in-law.
Now their son Cering Zhaxi is three years old, and speaks both Tibetan and Han languages.
