The upcoming Dai Wei film Once Upon a Time in Tibet is in its final phase of filming. The film stars actress Song Jia, singer-actor Peter Ho and Taiwan composer Tino Bao.
Set against the backdrop of China's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression (1937-45), the story revolves around an American pilot Robert (Josh Hannume) and a Tibetan girl (Song Jia) who saves his life when his airplane crashes.
Peter Ho stars as a handsome Tibetan hunter who mistakes the pilot for an Italian fugitive entering Tibet from India. Tino Bao, appearing on the silver screen, for the first time, plays a Kuomintang official who vows to find the missing pilot at any cost.
