(www.likefar.com Photo)Burang County is an administrative division under Ngari Prefecture of Tibet Autonomous Region, southwestern China on the far south-western border with Nepal and India. Covering an area of 12,497 square kilometres and having a population of some 73,000 people, it is an important Chinese customs point between Tibet, Nepal and India.
Featured with highland geography and surrounded by snowy mountain ranges, Burang is one of the Buddhist sacred lands in Tibet. The region abounds with well-know holy lakes and mountains like Mt.Kangrinboqe and Mapham Yutso, absorbing tourists at home and abroad.
