(Xinhua Photo) According to historical records, the generation of Tubo Kingdom established Guge Kingdom in AD 9th century and formed the special ancient civilization which integrated the different cultures of inland of China, Tibet, India and Nepal.
In 1961, Guge Kingdom was listed as one of the first batch of key cultural relics units. In the existing ruins of Guge Kingdom, there are 300 caves in a row which had been the houses for slave and the common people living in and some temples built on the mountainside with sculptures and colorful murals.
