Tibetan mobile information system based on windows mobile and symbian systems can download Tibetan language software package automatically and then send Tibetan text messages point to point.
Zhang Chunjiang, vice president of China Mobile said:" The success of this research stands for a development in modern information and communication technology. It also reflects the contributions made to develop Tibetan cultural inheritance."
In future, the mobile news in Tibetan language could provide the necessary agriculture science & technology knowledge and information for farmers and herdsmen in Tibet.
