A representative introduces project on the ceremony (China Tibet Information Center Photo)The delegates of Tibet for the 4th China Beijing International Cultural & Creative Industry Expo on Thursday held a ceremony to promote its cultural projects.
Three enterprises signed contracts valued at 3.31 million yuan on the ceremony.
Representatives from 10 excellent enterprises involving business performance, hotel, amusement place, folk handicraft and etc. introduced their projects to absorb investments.
According to the recemony, in Tibet there are 2,596 cultural and amusement places, providing jobs for 18,350 people. In particular, the Tibetan medicine has generated a total of 660 million yuan in 2007, taking up 3.9 per cent of the region's GDP.
