A total of 1,445 people participated in the China's national examination for 2010 admissions to the civil service in Lhasa on Nov 29.
The authorities adopted strict measures to prevent irregularities, such as the use of wireless equipment or the Internet to cheat. Any candidate who has been identified in cheating, forgery, plagiarism and collusion in dishonest acts will be subject to ban on tests for lifetime.
An official from TAR Personnel Office said:"This year, over 2,100 people applied for participating in the entrance exam, and 1,445 people are qualified. Many candidates are graduates this year or soon to graduate in 2010."
Dorje Cije, a student from Tibet University said:" The exam is a little bit difficult this year. I hope I can do better next year."
The results will be put on the official websites of State Administration of Civil Service in mid January, and those who passed will be prepared for the interview.
