During its first marketing and promotional activity in Beijing, Tibet selected 24 key projects for the expo, including art performances, cultural tourism, cultural entertainment, folk handicraft development, book publication, movies and TV programs.
The expo provided a new opportunity for the development of Tibet's cultural and creative industry, said Norbu Tsering, director of Cultural Industry Division of Tibet's Culture Department.
"The Tibet exhibition zone enjoys great popularity at the China International Exhibition Center," Norbu Tsering said. As a major exhibition venue, the center received more than 10,000 visitors every day during the expo.
Books published by the Tibet People's Publishing House were also well received at the expo.
