Children's shopping center in Lhasa resumes business after 3.14 riots
16:08, December 14, 2009

Landuner Childern's Shopping Center in Drosenge Road of Lhasa currently resumed business after temporarily shutting up because of the 3.14 Lhasa riots.

Landuner Childern's Shopping Center was burnt down beyond recognition during the Lhasa 3.14 Riots, suffering losses of more than 8 million yuan.

Mr. Jia, owner of the Landuner Children's Shopping Center, had no idea how to run the shop again at first when facing such a huge loss. "Thanks to the Communist Party of China and the government's preferential policies to help our reconstruction and I believe my business will become better and better," Mr. Jia said while seeing the flow of customers in his shop.

Taking advantage of the reconstruction, with one year's preparation, Mr. Jia scales up his operation in the hope of expanding the business.

The Party committee and government in Tibet offered a series of preferential policies to help those suffering from riots to resume business.

Most of the shops which temporarily closed because of the riots have resumed business last year.

"The stable and united society is the biggest guarantee for our businessmen," said Mr. Jia.
