(China Tibet Information Center Photo)The Tibet Women's Federation has donated 215 boxes of nutritious children's food worth 200,000 yuan RMB (29,200 U.S. dollars) to the Tajie Village Primary School, Dagze County, Lhasa, capital of Tibet.
A teacher of the school said, "There are 160 pupils eating at the school. The donated food can enhance the children's immunity and help quicken their intellectual development. We plan to make such food into breakfast for our students. "
The food, developed by world-famous experts on children's trophic disturbance therapy, contains 22 types of vitamins and minerals vital to children's growth and has benefited 140,000 children throughout China.
A total of 834 boxes of such food valued at one million yuan RMB (146,400 dollars) will be donated to Tibet to benefit 1,000 children.
