Sharpa with meaning of "Easterner" refers to an ethnic group that migrated to Mt. Qomolangma region from eastern Tibet 450 years ago. The traditions and customs keep being passed down from generation to generation. A special alcohol drinks made from "chicken feet grain" is popular for expressing the Sharpa people's emotions.
