Tibetan wild donkeys in Hoh Xil Nature Reserve

Picture shows a herd of Tibetan wild donkeys, the Class I nationally protected animal, grazing on a grassland of the Hoh Xil Nature Reserve in northwest China's Qinghai Province. The reserve, at an average altitude of 4,600 meters, is a paradise for rare plateau animals including the Tibetan wild donkeys which usually inhabit grasslands and deserts at an altitude between 4,200-5,100 meters.
