4 tourist sites in Yushu added to national AAA

Four tourist sites in Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province were added into national AAA-level tourist sites list recently.

Those tourist sites are Ga'er Monastery-Grand Canyon in Nangqian County, Dana River Valley in Nangqian County, Gaduo Juewu Holy Mountain in Chengduo County and Longbaotan tourist site.

At present, Yushu boasts 9 national AAA-level tourists sites in all, 2 AA-level ones and several historical relics and intangible cultural heritages under state protection, according to Liu Lizhi, director of Yushu Tourism Bureau. "In 2010, Yushu will develope 'Lasitong Folk Culture Village' in a bid to have another national AAA-level tourist site." he added.

By now, newly-listed AAA-level tourist sites in Yushu are free to visit and local tourism bureau is thinking of using one-ticket system to cover all the tourist sites in Yushu.
