Another round of snowfall expected to hit Tibet

Another round of snowfall is expected to hit the Tibet Autonomous Region, southwestern China, followed by the heavy snow which stopped there on Friday, the experts said.

The heavy snowfaill, which hit Tibet on January 13, has stopped on Friday, blocking some roads along the No.219 national highway that links Burang of Ngari with Zhongba of Xigaze. The temeparture in Shiquanhe region has dropped to -27℃.

Experts remind departments concerned to take effective action to guard against the strong snowfall in a move to guarantee the safety of people.
