Tibetan Living Buddha: politics and religion should be separated

A group of domestic and foreign journalists on a tour organized by the State Council Information Office began to cover Lhasa. On March 3, they visited the Tibetan religious figures and talked about the current religious situation, and the policy in Tibet.

The living Buddha Dadrak Tenzin Geleg said politics and religion should be separated. As a religious figure, he is eager to peace in the world, and harmony in people's life.

Meanwhile, Qamba Kelzang, another living Buddha expressed his congratulations for the Panchen Lama as the youngest person ever appointed to the conference and advised the Dalai Lama to give up the separatist activities.

The group consists of 15 reporters from ten domestic and overseas media organizations, including the Nippon Hoso Kyokai (NHK), the Associated Press Television News (APTN), the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) and the Hongkong Asia Television Limited (ATV).
