U.S. House Speaker bad-mouth China over Tibet

The Dalai Lama delivered a speech at a political rally held in Dharamsala March 10, calling the slaughter of PLA soldiers and Tibetans in 1959 a "peaceful resistance against violence," and accused the Chinese government of destroying Tibet, while expressing his gratitude for the support from political and spiritual leaders headed by the U.S. President. These frequently repeated political lies under the cover of religion have disgusted everyone.

The same day U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi also delivered a speech, giving the nod of approval to what the Dalai Lama had said, while criticizing China's Tibet policies and speaking highly of the "struggle of the Tibetan people."

Why does the Dalai Lama frequently repeat these political lies every year? Why do some Western politicians laud the Dalai Lama by ignoring the truth? In the past, the newly founded People's Republic of China was not so powerful, and some countries used the Dalai Lama as a tool to contain China. Decades later however, this strategy has been unsuccessful.

Instead, the nation has become more powerful, Tibet remains a part of China, and the Dalai Lama has become an exile. Meanwhile, the Dalai Lama becomes more and more worthless and fewer countries are willing to back him, even as a political tool.
