Tibetan Culture Museum opens in BJ

The opening ceremony for Tibetan Culture Museum kicked off in Beijing March 28 to show Tibetan history and promote traditional Tibetan culture, with Liu Yunshan, Political Bureau member of CPC Central Committee.

The exhibition will showcase more than 2,000 archives, including cultural relics, Buddhist Statues, religious objects and restored landscapes. The exhibits demonstrate the great changes undergone in Tibet since 1959, when serfdom was abolished. They also show how Tibet has been a part of China since the Yuan Dynasty, about 800 years ago.
