The newly opened Tibetan Culture Museum of the China Tibetology Research Center (CTRC) in Beijing serves as a new window to know the Tibet Autonomous Region.

Upon entering the museum, visitors can appreciate the vivid Thangka paintings, exquisite clay Longevity Buddha and other Buddha statues and exhibition of folk handcrafts making. Visitors feel as if they were at the scene in Tibet.

Drolma, who makes clay Buddha statues in the museum, says that she is very happy to introduce the traditional Tibetan culture and customs to more people.

"I feel as if I were in Tibet now when I visit the exhibition," said Ngawang Choeta, a monk from eastern Tibet's Qamdo Prefecture studying in the Chinese Buddhist Academy (CBA). "I hope that more people come to this exhibition and get to know Tibet better," he added.

Guan Que, a staff of the CBA, praised the exhibition of Tibetans' changing life.

"This is the best window to showcase Tibetan culture and history and not only the outsiders but the young Tibetans can also know Tibet better," he said.
