Lhasa citizens to enjoy partial lunar eclipse in June

Citizens in Tibet's capital of Lhasa will be able to watch partial lunar eclipse on June 26, according to the Tibet Business.

The astronomical will start at around 18:16, with the maximum phase at 19: 40 and the last contact at 21:00, said Kunga Rigzin, professor of the Tibet Astronomy and Calendar Research Institute.

Such a phenomenon will occur again on December 21. Previously, Lhasa citizens watched a nearly one-hour partial lunar eclipse on January 1.
