In recent years, Tibetan drawing master Basang and other seven local farmers developed a professional cooperative to provide training in hand-woven crafts.

The cooperative maintains the goal of preserving the Tibetan cultural intangible heritage and saving the endangered wool-serge-weaving crafts. More than 100 Tibetan farmers and herdsmen have already received the wool-serge-weaving crafts and Tangka-drawing training. Depending on these special handicrafts, they can earn at least 10,000 yuan more per year.
