'Sunlight cooks food' in 'sunlight city'

Currently, solar cookers are most popular among Tibetan families not only in cities but also in rural areas of Tibet Autonomous Region.

Up to date, 395,000 solar cookers have been applied in Tibet. It is estimated that each 10 person times have at least 1.36 solar cooker, according to the statistics that Tibet had a total population of 2,900,300 in 2009.
