A Buddhist believer on her way of praying [Photo/China Tibet Online]

Tibetan Buddhists believe that everybody has a next life. Taking ritual walks around certain architectures or places is one way of chanting Buddhist sutras to pray for the following round of living in the world.

Ritual walkers can be seen at almost any corner of Lhasa, tracking clockwise around monasteries with prayer beads and wheels in hands and chanting some Buddhist sutras in a lower voice.
