Jamyang Lekdrup Rinpoche has made great efforts in promoting Tibetan Buddhism culture and plays an active role in cultural exchanges.

The previous secluded Tibetan art has recently walked into big metropolis including Shanghai and Beijing, where the same kind of exhibition was held in 2011.

Thangka, a unique painting form in Tibetan culture, has been inscribed into world intangible cultural heritage by the UNESCO and won widespread attention around the world.

Jonang School, as one of the major schools of Tibetan Thangka art originating from Tibet's Shigatse Prefecture, boasts a history of over a thousand of years.

It is also noted for its time-honored tradition and distinguished artistic merit integrated with Indian, Tibetan and Chinese painting skills.
