4.8-magnitude earthquake hits Tibet
15:23, July 23, 2012  

An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter Scale has hit northwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region.

The quake took place early Monday morning. The China Earthquake Networks Center says the epicentre is located in Nyima County, in Nagqu Prefecture.
