36 Tibetan students from Tibet's Nyingchi Prefecture attended the opening ceremony of new semester on September 4, 2012 in Fuzhou, the capital city of China's southeast Fujian Province.

Thanks to the Fujian-Tibet cultivating talents project jointly organized by Fujian Provincial League Committee, Fujian Aiding Tibet Working Group and Fujian Sunshine City Group Company, these 36 Tibetan students from poor families have opportunities to study in Fuzhou Sunshine International School, nine in junior high department and 27 in senior high department.

"This school gives me a warm feeling. Tashi delek !" Tsering Sangmo, a new Tibetan student said.

"I will cherish this chance to study here,” she added, "because the quality of teaching is apparently higher".

After three-year study in inland, the rates of college and university admission of previous Tibetan students have surpassed 84 percent.

Fuzhou Sunshine International School has delivered some living necessities and subsidies to these 36 Tibetan students on the ceremony. Moreover, they will enjoy free meals and accommodation while studying there.

Launched in 2007, the Fujian-Tibet cultivating talents project has help 83 Tibetan students from rural families to study in Fujian Province in last three years.
