On Sept. 8, 2012, the second “Colorful Sacred Arrow” International Folk Archery Tournament (IFAT) and Dutton Culture Festival kick off in Jianzha County, Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture.
Jianzha County is the birthplace of Tibetan Buddhism. People in this ancient land always inherit and adhere to the traditional archery culture. The ceremony of worshiping and welcoming the arrow is held before the competition, yearning for the victory and a better life.
